WAITAKARURU SCOUTS
MR PERRY TAKES LEADERSHIP CUBS TRAINING IN FIRST AID Great satisfaction has been felt by the Waitakaruru Scout Group which has been in recess for some time, owing to the lack of a leader, now that Mr George Perry has consented to come to their aid, and it is hoped that this group will soon grow, as it is realised what a splendid means of training the youth of the district to become useful citizens the Boy Scout Movement is. The Waitakaruru branch of the Cubs which is under the guidance of Miss McKenney, and which is a very active little band of small boys of the district, is now being given first aid instruction under Mr Syd. Neal, who is giving some of his valuable time to help these youngsters to gain valuable knowledge.
