’STORE PIGS AT PAEROA SALE BACONERS MAKE TO £5/2/- . The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency, Ltd., report that at their fortnightly sale held at Paeroa on Monday fat pigs were yarded in smaller numbers and sold exceptionally well, baconers making to £5 2s. Heavy baconers made from £4 15s to £5 2s; medium, £4 to £4 12s 6d; light, £3 10s to £4; heavy porkers, £2 15s to £3 ss; medium, £2 5s- to £2 10s; light, £2 to £2 ss; large stores, 35s to £2 ss; slips, 25s to 355; weaners, 15s to 225; sows with litters, £5 to £9 ss; maiden sows, close to profit, £7 to £9 17s 6d; old sows, £2 to £4.
