CARD EVENING
WANI’S ROAD BEAT KEREPEEHI A card evening was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs A. Hayes, Wani’s road, Kerepeehi, on a recent evening when members of the Kerepeehi. Lodge competed against the residents of Wani’s road. The tournament resulted in a decisive win for Wani’s road players. The lodge team consisted of Mesdames C. Nicholson, R. Wentworth, W. Kidd, A. Shilton, Miss E. Patterson, Messrs H. Candy, H. Wright, P. Pearce, S. Gurrell, C. Nicholson, G. Garry, A. Shilton. Wani’s road team was Mesdames I. Poland, A. Hayes, D. Jordan, H. Candy, F. Patterson, Gillies, Messrs F. Patterson, H. W. Candy, R. Trembath, D. Hayea, I. Poland, A. Hayes. A delicious supper was served by the hostsaa, Mrs A. Hayes.
