’ Mrs R. Marshall of Whenuakite is holidaying in Auckland. Nurse G. Ngapo of Coromandel is relieving at Whitianga Hospital. Matron Devine, of Whitianga, is holidaying in Auckland. Sister Roys of Thames, is relieving at the Whitianga hospital. Corporal I. Brophy is home on leave in Whitianga. Miss C. Brophy of Whitianga, is on annual vacation. Signalman L. V. Smith spent the week-end at his home in Whitianga, Mrs L. Brott of Auckland is the guest of Mr and Mrs F. Plow, Whitianga. Reg.-Sgt.-Major Henderson of Turua inspected the Whitianga Home Guard recently. Mr P. H. Smith of Auckland was the guest of Mrs L. V. Smith at the week-end. Mrs C. Hall of Auckland was the guest of Mr and Mr s B. Chaney during the week-end. Mrs J. E. Shaw of Opotiki is holidaying in Whitianga as the guest of her daughter, Mrs L. V. Smith. Messrs W. and J. Harsant of Whitianga journeyed to Auckland on the “Lady Jocelyn” last week. Mrs D. Close, of Whitianga, has returned to her home in Waitakere, Auckland.
