CARD AFTERNOON

WOMEN’S INSTITUTE FUNDS MRS F. PIERCE ENTERTAINS A most enjoyable card afternoon to raise funds for the Ngatea Women’s Institute, was held at the home of Mrs Frank Pierce, Ngatea, on Tuesday last. Flag 500 was played, after which a delicious afternoon tea was served. Ladies present were: Mrs Pierce, Mrs.C. H. Waite, Mrs R. Grbich, Mrs ,S. Coppins, Mrs D. Waite, Mrs W. O’Neil, Mrs L. Julian and. Mrs N. Mold.
