KOPUARAHI INSTITUTE MEETS i *AN ENJOYABL EAFTERNOON I I I The May meeting of the Kopuarahi Women’s Institute was held at Mrs Hudson’s residence, Kopuarahi. Miss B. White presided. •The meeting commenced with the Women’s Institute Ode and the Aspirations. The roll call was “A Favourite Song,” and was well asnwered by all, some grand old favourites being justly praised. For entertainment during the social half-hour, Miss White explained a novel way in which to amuse children and also gave an ever-popu-lar reading from “The Sentimental Bloke.” ; Mesdames Kilgour and Hudson served afternoon tea after which a cordial vote of thanks was passed to I Mrs Hudson. ’ The National Anthem concluded j the meeting.
