MANY UNITS REPRESENTED
SERVICEMEN AT THE RE-UNION
That the Paeroa-Hauraki Branch of the Returned Services’ Association contains men from many lands’ and men who have been on active service
in many units was demonstrated when, the roll-call was taken at Saturday evening’s re-union. It was difficult on account of the crowd to make a count of heads but the numbers were approximately:—'South African War Veterans, 4; Royal Navy, 3; Royal Air Force, 2; Imperial Forces, 10; Australian Forces, 2; Canadian Forces, 2; N.Z. Artillery, 12; N.Z. Engineers, 5; N.Z. Medal Corps, 21; Pioneers, 2; Mounted Rifles, 15; Auckland Infantry, 18; Wellington Infantry, 8; Canterbury Infantry, 6; Otago Infantry, 9; Rifle Brigade, 16; 2nd. N.ZJE.F., 7.
