COMBINED GUILD

MEETING AT KEREPEEHI RESULTS OF COMPETITIONS The monthly meeting of the Kerepeehi Combined Presbyterian and Methodist Ladies’ Guild was held on Wednesday afternoon, June 9, at Mrs B. Kearn’s residence. The president, Mrs B. Kearns presided. There was a good attendance of members. Mre Burling Snr.’s, resignation as secretary was accepted with regret. Mrs R. Harvey wa selected to the position. It was arranged that in future the monthly meeting be held on the first Tuesday of each month. . ‘ The competition results were as follow:—

Weight of an overcoat (gentleman’s). —Mrs H. Innis. Memory test.—Mrs R. Harvey. Humorous story.—Mrs R. Reddy. The hostesses were Mesdames W'. Bailey, A. Reddy, H. Innes and V. Strong.
