A GOOD JOB
NGATEA CORNER WIDENED OPINION OF COUNCILLORS MR J. NEATE CONGRATULATED The opinion that the recent work done at Ngatea in extending the culvert to the River road, corner had resulted in a great improvement to the corner 'both from the point of safety and appearance was expressed by councillors at Wednesday’s meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council when Mr J. W. Neate was congratulated on his persistence in getting- this job attended to. Mr A. H. Sutton congratulated Mr Neate on getting the improvement completed, stating that it was a job which really needed doing. Mr D. G. McMillan: It was just what was wanted and has given Ngatea a better appearance.
Mr J. F. Mayn: It was a rotten place before. Other councillors also congratulated Mr Neate on getting the job put through.
