FAREWELL AT COROMANDEL L.A.C. RALPH EVANS HONOURED During the dance held in Coromandel on Saturday night Mrs Lynne, chairwoman of the Coromandel Patriotic Committee, took the opportunity to hand a small token of esteem , from the people of Coromandel to L.A.C. Ralph Evans, who is on leave.
Mrs Lynne asked him to remember his associations with Coromandel when he used the gift of the steel mirr,or. Although he was a Colville boy, the people of Coromandel joined with the Colville people in wishing him Godspeed and a safe and speedy return. L.A.C. Evans suitably replied.
