Public Notices THAMES VALLEY DRAINAGE board GENERAL RATES 1943-44 NOTICE is hereby given in terms of Section 54 of “The Rating Act 1925” that it is the intention of the Thames Valley Drainage Board at a meeting to be held in its office, Rewi street, Te Aroha, on Thursday, July 8, 1943, at 10.30 a.m. to make and levy under Section 31 of “The Land Drainage Act 1908” and Sections 3 and 4 of “The Land Drainage Amendment Act 1913,” a General Rate upon the unimproved value and upon a graduated scale according to the classification of the lands within the several subdivisions of the Thames Valley Drainage District iii the following proportions and rates: —Within the Hungahunga subdivision upon lands classed “A” 3d, upon lands classed “B” 2.Vd, and upon lands classed “C” 2d. Within the Manawaru Subdivision upon lands classed “A” l-13/16d, upon lands classed “B” l-9/16d, and upon lands classed “C” l-5/16d Within the Waihekau and Tahuna Subdivisions . upon lands classed “A” 2-15/16d, upon lands classed “B” 2 9/16d, and upon lands classed “C” l-15/16d. Within the Waihou Subdivision upon lands classed “A” 3-l/16d upon lands classed “B” 2-9/16d upon lands classed “C” 2-l/16d. Within the Elstow Subdivision upon lands classed “A” 3ld upon lands classed “B” 3d and upon lands classed “C” 24d. Within the Awaiti. Subdivision upon lands classed “A” 4d, upon lands classed “B” 3/d and upon lands classed “C” 2|d. Within the Waitoa Subdivision upon lands classed “A” 2|d, upon lands classed “B” and upon lands classed “C” 1-gd. * Within the Whakahoro Subdivision upon lands classed “A” 24d upon lands classed “B” 2{-d and upon lands classed “C” 2d. Within the Tatuanui Subdivision upon lands classed “A” 3 ? ld, upon lands classed “B” 2|d, and upon lands classed “C” 2|d. All per pound upon the rateable value for the year commencing April 1, 1943 and ending March 31, 1944, and payable to the Clerk to the Board on the 31st. day of July, 1943. The rate books and rating rolls are now open for inspection at the office of the Board during office hours.
