PLAINS POLICE STATION PROPOSED REBUILDING OPINION OF COUNTY COUNCIL Support for the suggestion that the police station on the Hauraki Plains at present at Kerepeehi be transferred to Ngatea, was given at Wednesday’s meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council. Mahoney, reported on the matter as under: — “Constable Beasley mentioned to' me that the Police Department proposed building a new police station at Kerepeehi and I took upon myself to telegraph Wellington asking that the matter be held un pending the council’s opinion being given.
