NEW LINES CONSTRUCTED THAMES VALLEY POWER BOARD That only 5 route miles of power lines were erected this year, compared with 29.88 last year and 43.8 the year before, stated the annual report of the Thames Valley Electric Power

Board which was considered at Tuesday’s meeting of the board. The report added:— “ One and a-half miles of 3.3 k.v. line were converted to 11 k.v., while miles of l.t. line were dismantled. There were 115 service lines and 68 subniains erected during the year, compared with 218 service lines and 167 submains last year.”
