COST FALLING
UNITS SOLD BY POWER BOARD POSITION IN THAMES VALLEY That the total cost per unit sold by the Thames Valley Electric Power Board had fallen from 2.153 d in 1925 to .760 d for 1943 was disclosed* in the annual report to Tuesday’s meeting of the board. The report read as under: — “The total cost to the board per unit sold has fallen from 2.153 d for 1925 to 0.760 d for 1943. The cost per unit r for 1943 was .thus .only about 35% of what it was for 1925. The cost for 1942 was 0.783 d.”
