TREES FOR LONG BAY PARK APPOINTMENT OF BOARD At the last meeting of the Coromandel County Council the annual meeting of the Long 'Bay Domain Board and the Hot Water Beach Domain Board was held. It was pointed out that tree planting which had been advocated by various councillors on the Long Bay Domain should be gone into and/dealt with. It was therefore duly proposed by Cr. H. C. Bull and seconded •by the chairman, Cr. C. C. Rae, “That the sum of £25 be set aside by the county council and paid into the Long Bay Park Account.” This was carried. It was moved that the three Coromandel riding members be the Long Bay Domain Committee, together with the engineer and clerk. It was also decided that the Minister of Internal Affairs be advised that the domain board would be pleased to • receive advice at the earliest opportunity, of his representative regarding the proposal of a health camp establishment at Long Bay.
