ROAD DANGEROUS

SURFACE VERY SLIPPERY COMPLAINT TO THE COUNCIL At the May meeting of the Coromandel County Council a letter was received from the Mercury Bay Dairy Company drawing the council’s attention to the state of the Hot Water Beach road leading up to the estate of the late C. B. Pye. The letter pointed out that the slippery surface was dangerous to motor traffic. The clerk reported that this matter had already been replied to by the county engineer.
