SOCIAL NOTES
Mrs Les. O’Brien of Ngatea, is spending two weeks’ holiday at Devonport. Mrs W. F. North, Te Aroha road, Paeroa, returned, at the week-end from a visit to her daughter, Mrs R. Foster who is staying at the Waihi beach for the school holidays. Mrs L. E. Boatswain, Ngatea, is a visitor to Auckland. Miss N. McLeod, of the Ngatea District High School staff and secretary of the Ngatea branch of the St. John Ambulance Association, is undergoing V.A. training at the Auckland Public Hospital during this school vacation. Mrs A. Boyce, of Hikutaia, is visiting Morrinsville. Mrs M. Morrison, of Hikutaia, is visiting Matamata. Mrs H. T. McGarvey left Hikutaia during last week-end for Matamata where she will reside in the future. Miss Joy Sweeney, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs R. W. Lowry, Hikutaia. Miss I. Lowry, of Auckland, is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs R. W. Lowry, of Hikutaia. Miss Vai. Alley, of Auckland, is visiting her mother, Mrs P. Alley, of Hikutaia. Mrs R. G. Webb, of Rotorua, has returned home after visiting her sister-in-law, Mrs Alan Morrison, Netherton.
