KEREPEEHI ANNUAL MEETING

OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED

The annual meeting of the Kere-

peehi branch of the Women’s Division was held in the Kerepeehi Hall on the evening of April 1. Mrs A. L. Fisher presided. There was a fair attendance of members. ' The creed was read.

The president reported that six housekeepers had been employed during the year. Warm clothing had been given to a needy family and parcels had been sent to the boys overseas every three months. The secretary read the balance sheet which showed a favourable balance. Some very complimentary remarks were passed by the president on the secretary’s work during the year.

The election of officers resulted as under: President, Mrs A. L. Fisher; vice-presidents, Mesdames R. Harvey and J. Redwood; secretary and treasurer, Mrs V. M. Strong; advisory board, Mesdames I. Poland, F. Bennett and W. Bailey. Remits to be taken to -the annual conference were discussed.

A general discussion took place regarding soldiers’ parcels and it was decided to send a cake every two months.

Letters of appreciation and thanks, for parcels received were read from Ptes. iH. Warner, A. P. Ryan, L. D. Clark, L. Radford, L. Ratcliffe and W. Kidd in the Pacific zone.
