MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP

PAEROA LAWN TENNIS LADIES’ SINGLES TO MISS HOBBS Defeating H. Thorp in the final, G. Taylor carried off the men’s championship singles of the Paeroa Lawn Tennis Club for the 1942-43 season, while Miss N. E. Hobbs, the winner of the ladies’ championship singles, defeated Mrs A. Nield in the final, 6—3, 6—l. Messrs E. Lee and H. Lee were the winners of the men’s championship doubles, while Mrs Morran and Miss Hobbs carried off the ladies’ championship doubles.
