KEREPEEHI ANGLICANS
ANNUAL MEETING HELD
The annual meeting of the Anglican Ladies’ Guild was held in the Kerepeehi Hall oh April 14. The president, Mrs Redwood, presided. Members present, Mesdames H. Booth, A. Innis, H. Middleton, H. Collins, R. Wentworth and P. Innis.
The year’s work was reviewed and. the president thanked the ladies for their support during the past year which had 'been difficult on account of the shortage of materials and coupons, therefore making it hard to supply a good drapery stall at the annual Paddy’s Market. Mrs Redwood also thanked Mrs Booth who so ably carried out the duties of secretary, also Mesdames J. Kidd (Auckland), R. Davies (Paeroa), both having left the district and still send gifts of material and sewing each month.
Mesdames Redwood and Booth were re-elected for their third term in
■office as president and secretary. Afternoon tea was served and the ladies then opened their gift parcels, which they donate monthly, also the sewing parcels which they complete each month from material supplied by the guild funds.
