ANNUAL MEETING HELD ELECTION OF OFFICERS CERTIFICATES PRESENTED The annual meeting of the Paeroa Amateur Swimming Club was held in the Parish Hall on Thursday night, Sergeafit-Major W. A., C. Stewart,
vice-president, presiding over a good attendance of members. ''
The annual report disclosed that a i successful season had been staged I while the balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £3 13s 3d. The election of officers resulted as under: —Patron, Mr Edwin Edwards; president, Mi’ R. A. Mace; vice-presi-dents, Sergeant-Major W. A. C. Stewart, Mr H. M. Shand, Corporal ! J. R. Kidd;- secretary, Miss 0. Nield; treasurer, Mr R. L. Darley; club captain, Dr. F. L. Clark; committee, Messrs W. E. Westlake, G. Bain, R..Ganley, H. Wheeler, with power to add; auditor, Mr W. F. F. Faber; delegates to South Auckland, Dr. F. L. Clark and Mr R. L. Darley. Good Performances In presenting the certificates woii during the season, both in championship events and the points competition, Sergeant-Major Stewart congratulated the competitors for their good performances and for the way they had turned out regularly each night.
