In wintry sunshine at Hahei, Mercury Bay, on Sunday, April 11, many spectators gathered On Harsant’s estate to watch the cricket match between a combined Hahei Whenuakite team and an Air Force team, which
resulted in a win for the Air Force. The final score was: Air Force, first innings 47, second innings 65, and Hahei-Whenuakite, first innings 23, second innings 48.
