Dogs—But No Registrars
Dog registration fees collected in the Ohinemuri County during the financial year just ended amounted to £26 9s fid, compared with £32 2s 6d for the previous year, while the expenditure was £43 9s lOd, leaving a deficit of £l7 Os Id, compared with a profit of £33 17s 10d for 1941-42. This was due to not being able to get dog registrars, stated the chairman, Mr W’ Marshall, at the monthly meeting of *he Ohinemuri County Council on Wednesday.
