KARANGAHAKE POST OFFICE

ADVICE FROM MR J. THORN, M.P.

For some time Mr James Thorn, M.P., has been negotiating with the Postmaster-General for the installation of heating facilities in the Karangahake Post Office. He has now received from the Hon. IP. 0. Webb a statement that a quotation for the provision of a heating point is being accepted and that the department will pay the cost both of connection and of the switchboard, as well as providing an electric radiator.
