PATRIOTIC STALL IN PAEROA PAEROA CROQUET CLUB EFFORT There was an abundance of produce, cakes, etc., ar the Patriotic street Scali held m Paeroa on Friday last by the ladies of the Paeroa Croquet Club, the excellent sum of £75 l±s 6d being raised. From early in the morning goods for saie Started to airive at tne s.aii, ranging from mushxooms, including an excellent array cf vegetaoles, to cakes which, as usual, w«-re in keen demand.

Toe organiser, Mrs A. Field.ng, in conjunction with the president Ox the club, Mis W. Barclay, supported by the members, were untiring throughout <.he day and it was due to this keenness that such a large sum was collected.
