GOLF IN PAEROA

ANNUAL MEETING OF CLUB \ OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED The annual meeting of the Paeroa Golf Club was held in the Parish Hall on Monday night, the president, Mr H. R. Thorp, presiding over a small attendance of members.

The annual report balancesheet disclosed the finances of the club to be in a sound position. The election of officers resulted: — President, Mr A. E. Day; vice-presi-dent, Mr J. H. Bartlett; club captain, Mr L. J. Shaw; hon. auditor, Mr G. B-ain; treasurer, Mr E. W. Westlake; secretary, Mr C. W. Lewis; committee, Messrs H. Morgan, H. R. Thorp, ;F. L. Clark, W. F. Johnstone, 7. R. Kidd, Mesdames L. Jones and J. R. Kidd.

It was decided to open the season on Saturday, April 17, and arrangements were made for a working bee next week-end.
