Pte. J. Hands is spending his leave at his home in Kerepeehi.
Mr D. Codkin, of Wellington, is at present the guest of Mrs S. Heslop, of Hikutaia.
Mr C. W. Malcolm of Netherton left on Tuesday for Wellington to attend the Fire Brigade Conference. L.A.C. K. Heslop, R.N.Z.A.F., is at present spending leave with his parents, Mr and Mrs S. Heslop, of Hikutaia.
Captain G. R. Andrews, D.C.M., was a week-end visitor to Paeroa, being the guest of Mr and Mrs H. Hare, “Rydai* Mount,” Thames road.
