DEATH OF CHILD
STRUCK BY TRAIN IN JANUARY accident near katikati As the result of an accident on January 13 at Apata, near Katikati Pauline Mavis Bryant,, aged years, died at the Thames Hospita*. She was struck by the TaneatuaAuckland express near the Athenree station shortly before noon on January 13 and suffered serious head injuries. At the time of the‘Occident it was reported that the chi d momentarily escaped observation an wandered on to the line at a ena near the station.
