NO MATCHES ON PLAINS. PROGRAMME FOR HOLIDAYS. Saturday last being such a good day for hay-making after the spell of wet weather, cricket clubs on the Hauraki Plains were unable to field teams, and all the inter-club games were postponed. On Thursday next (Boxing Day) and Friday the Thames-Hauraki Cricket Association’s representatives will play the Auckland Suburban Association, and on Saturday, December 28, and January 4 matches will be played with the Piako Association.
