On Christmas Night will be screened “Evangeline,” by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Dolores Del Reo taking the leading role. THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY. THREE LIVE GHOSTS. “Three Live Ghosts,” an all-talkie comedy-drama, is based on the New York and London stage success, and revolves round the adventures of three British soldiers who escape from a German prison camp and return to their former haunts in London to discover themselves officially dead in the eyes of the Government. His firsthand knowledge of the horrors of shell-shock, and of how its victims act under its dread shadows, made it easy for Claud AUister to give an accurate and convincing characterisation.
