Mr Eric Moore, son of Mr W. J. Moore, of Paeroa, has been appointed senior clerk at the local railway station..

Mr J. Bratlie, late of Ngatea, is at present an inmate of the Auckland Hospital. Mr R. B. Paul, of Ngatea, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital yesterday, and will possibly undergo a serious operation.

Master A. Mills, son of Mr and Mrs H. A. Mills, Wilson’s Road, Netherton, who has been attending the Canterbury University College, has passed his second B.A. in Latin in stage I. and his second B.A. in French in stage 11.
