BRENAN SHIELD GAMES. Further games played in the Brenan Shield competition on Saturday last were as follows :— Bassett, Mettam, Gibb (skip) 23, v. Mclntyre, W. H. Taylor, G. H. Taylor (skip) 17 ; Hutchinson, Morland, Surrey (skip) 22, v. Barclay, Forrest, P. Williams (skip) 18; McClinchy, Pascoe, Brocket, Chamberlain (skip) 10, v. Louden, Holes, T. R. Williams, Silcock (skip) 3. ARRANGEMENTS FOR HOLIDAYS. At a meeting of the Bowling Club committee last evening it was decided to hold the usudl progressive pairs tournament on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The Morrinsville Club has arranged to hold an invitation bowling tournament on January 29.
