NGATEA. HALL SOCIETY. The monthly meeting of the Ngatea Public Hall Society was held on Tuesday evening, Mr G. Phillips presiding over Messrs C. S. Foster, S. Phillips, W. Wylde, and S. Tarver. In connection with the, alterations to the electric wiring installations, as required by the Fire. Underwriters’ Association,' it was reported that the wiring in the hall had been completed, but the alterations in connection with the pictures had not yet been done. Messrs G. Phillips and S. Phillips were appointed to interview the picture proprietor. The alterations to the wiring in the hall cost £lO 14s Id. The secretary reported that the -credit balance in the bank was £55 16s lOd. Earnings for the month amounted to £lB 3s 6d and the expenditure, including a proportion of the annual charges and the month’s charge for the street lights, to £l2 10s sd. Sundry creditors brought the credits to £7O 4s 4d, against which there was £2l 17s 3d owing to sundry debtors.
