THE HAURAKI BODY. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. At a meeting of the Hauraki A. and P. Assciation’s committee on Friday evening Mr P. R. Hubbard, president, presided over the Rev. J. Lowden and Messrs A. J. Andrews, R. S. Carden, D. G. McMillan, W. Reid, E. L. Shaw, D. Sheehan, A. F. Steedman, A. NorthSzigetvary, and E. Edwards, secretary. Before the opening of business the members stood in silence a few moments as an expression of sympathy in the death of a relative of Mr B. Veale. ( New Members. The following new members were elected : Messrs S. W. Bagnall, B. A. Carter, R. Curran, R. H. Dale, A. Douglas, A. H. M. Farrell, W. Herkt, C. W. Neaber, E. Roberts, G. Sarjant, junr. Mr T. A. Aris, Ngatea, was elected an honorary member and hon. veterinary surgeon to the association in succession to the late Mr J. Costello. General. On the suggestion of Mr McMillan a committee consisting of the president, Messrs Fathers and Sheehan, and the secretary was appointed to go into the matter of larger car-parking space, and the question of traffic control, members’ cars to be free to the area, non-members’ 2s each. Several matters of routine work were discussed and arranged. It was decided to hold working bees on Thursday .and .Saturday next.
