The Hauraki Plains Tennis Association has appointed Mr V. Clay, secretary of the Parnell Tennis Club and brother of the president of the Plains Association, as its delegate to the Auckland Tennis Association. The Waitakaruru Domain Board has arranged as an added attraction to its popular annual sports and picnic on Boxing Day for a visit of a Moth aeroplane, which will take passengers for short flights. When the particulars of the model set of by-laws suggested by the N.Z. Counties’ Association were at the last meeting of the Piako County Council the chairman, Cr. W. R. Lowry, remarked : “That is just what we want.” The Ohinemuri County Council endorsed the by-laws at its last meeting.
