• PAEROA STOCK SALE. VERY LARGE YARDING There was again a very large yarding at the Paeroa stock sale on Monday, it being a most successful sale, with all classes of stock selling under keen competition at high values. Best dairy cows and heifers made from £lO 10s ft to £l5 ss, others £9 to £lO ss, backward £7,to £8 15s; fat steers £l3 ; fat cows £9 to £l2 2s 6d, good meaty cows £7 to £8 10s, store cows £5 to £6 15s, boner cows £3 10s to £4 15s ; yearling jersey heifers £5 10s to £6 14s, others £4 10s to £5 5s ; yearling steers £5 5s to £6 10s ; bulls £5 to £l3. In swine, weaners made to 275, and slips 28s to 355. This was one of the largest and best sales yet held, by the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Co. in the Paeroa saleyards. ' i NGATEA STOCK SALE. Prices on a par with those ruling elsewhere were realised at the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency’s monthly stock sale at Ngatea yesterday, when a medium number were yarded. Fat cows brought up to £9, store cows from £5 to £7, and boners from £3 10s upward. Yearling Jersey heifers realised £B, and Jersey-cross heifers £6. Herd bulls were not in demand, and prices ranged from £6 6s to £8 Bs. Potters brought up to £B.
