forward their affiliation fees at an early date, so that they could all be made financial before any carnivals were held. Entrance Fees. A good deal of discussion ensued on the subject of entrance fees payable by outside competitors in the centre. This matter had been the subject of much controversy for years, it being held by some that visiting competitors to a carnival were under a good deal of expense, and this, it was thought, might hinder them from competing in carnivals held away from their home town. Mr Meachem pointed out that under the rules of swimming competitors had to pay their entrance fes on entering, and he thought the rules should be strictly carried out. On this motion seconded by Mr Empson, it was definitely decided that all clubs adhere to the rules and make all competitors pay entrance fees.
