ODDFELLOWSHIP.
LOYAL JUBILEE LODGE. FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. On Tuesday night last the usual fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Jubilee Lodge, M.U., 1.0.0. F., was held in the Returned Soldiers’ Club. Acting N.G. Sister M. Bertelsen presided over a good attendance of members. L.M. P.G, Bro. C. Gwilliam gave a lengthy and interesting lecture on the meaning of the P.G.'s emblem which was much appreciated.It was decided to hold a grand dance and euchre on November 11, at which function patrons may be assured of the usual Oddfellowship hospitality. PAST GRANDS’ MEETING. The quarterly meeting of the Thames Valley. Past Grands’ Lodge was held in the Returned Soldiers’ Club on Wednesday last, the president, Bro. D. B. Currie, presiding over a fair attendance of P.G.’s from all parts of the Thames Valley. Keen regret was expressed by the members at the departure of P.G. Bro. K. L. Slyfield from Paeroa and his resignation from the position of secretary. The president conferred the N.G.’s and Purple Degree Lectures on a number of the members. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows : President, P.G. Bro. C. Stembridge ; 1.P.P., P.G. Bro. D. B. Currie ; Vice-Presi-dent, P.G. Bro. A. Campbell; Secretary, P.G. Sister M. Bertelsen ; Treasurer, Bro. P. Harold. After the closing of- Lodge a dainty supper was served.
