At a representative meeting of the N.Z. Flaxmillers’ Association held at Foxton last week the view was taken that the proposed super land tax, if applied to flaxlands, will have disastrous effects upon the industry as at present carried on, and will also prevent flax plantations being established. Steps are being taken to bring the matter before the Government.
