TUESDAY NIGHT. THE STREET OF SIN. “The Street of Sin” concerns the regeneration of a giant bruiser, “Sledge-hammer Bill,” who rules the ugly district with his fists. A Salvation Army lass comes into the neighbourhood seeking in her pity and piety to win back the souls of the slums. She is the instrument of the bruiser’s reform, but only after a tragic climax.
