TENNIS.
THE KEREPEEHI CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The Kerepeehi Tennis Club held its annual meeting on Tuesday evening, Mr W. Clay presiding over a small attendance. In the annual report it was stated ?that a very successful season was recorded, though neither of the teams succeeded in winning any of the Association’s competitions. Interesting tourneys were held. Membership stood at 22 men, 15 ladies, and 6 juniors. The club had a substantial balance in hand, and this should help considerably towards the formation of the proposed new court. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £3O 19s Id, though the sum in hand at the beginning of the season was only £l-odd. Officers were elected as follows :— Election of Officers. President, Mr N. Clay; secretary, Mr P. Innis ; vice-presidents, Messrs G. Boswell and R. E. Wentworth; executive committee, Mesdames Clay, Stansill, Rogers, Miss Douslin, Messrs S. Collinson, C. Murray, and G. Crisp ; auditor, Mr A. Gillespie. The positions of selector and delegate were not filled. October 19 was agreed upon as the opening day. Two new members were elected.
