LAST SATURDAY’S MATCH. VISITORS FROM WAIHI After the match against Waihi last Saturday Mr A. E. Surrey, vice-piesi-dent, in the absence of Mr A. Fellow, president, extended a welcome to the visiters, stressing the impo-tanee of inter-club matches, and expressed the hope to meet Waihi again. He spoke of the excellent atmosphere characterising the games. Mr F. C. V. Clark, captain of the Waihi team, replied thanking the previous speaker, and at the same time extended a hearty invitation to Paeroa players to visit Waihi at any time. A delightful afternoon tea, provided by the Paeroa ladies, contributed in no small manner to a pleasant and memorable day. SATURDAY’S ARRANGEMENTS. The ladies’ fixtures for next Saturday are the September medal round and the third round of the eclectic match.
