HIKUTAIA SPORTS.

TENNIS AND CROQUET. ANNUAL MEETINGS. The Hikutaia Tennis Club held its annual meeting at the pavilion on Thursday evening last, a large number of members and intending members being present. Mr V. Young, president of the club, presided. The following officers were elected to act for the ensuing year: President, Mr Edgar Turner; vice-presidents, Messrs Claud Elliot and H. McGarvey; secretary, Mr W. Alley, junr. ; delegates to Thames Valley Lawn Tennis Association, Messrs V. Young and C. Elliot; representative on executive. Mr E. Turner; selectors, Messrs E. Turner and H. McGarvey. At the conclusion of the meeting a hearty vote of thanks was accorded the outgoing officers. It w?.s arranged to hold the tennis dance this monthCROQUET CLUB. The annual meeting of the Croquet Club was held in the pavilion on Thursday afternoon last, Mrs A. R. Robinson, president, presiding over a large attendance. The season, both financially and otherwise, had beer quite a success. The following officers were elected for the ensuing season : President, Mrs W. Alley ; vice-president, Mrs I. M. Robinson; secretary, Mrs A. Gubb ; representative on executive, Mr A Robinson.
