PAEROA V. WAIHI. HOME TEAM DEFEATED. In the inter-club golf match at the local links on Saturday members of the Waihi Club defeated the Paeroa Club by six games. Gibb beat Mrs Wilson 6 and 4 ; Miss Walmsley lost to Mrs Walmsley, 2 down ; Miss L. Thorp lost to Mrs Rollett, 5 and 4 • Miss Tierney beat Mrs Malyon, 3 and 2 ; Miss M. Thorp and Mrs Whitehead, all square ; Mrs Silcock lost to Mrs Harland, 4 and 2 ; Mrs F. Hubbard lost to Mrs Morgan ; Mrs Edwards beat Mrs Johnstone, 6 and 4 ; Miss Robb lost to Mrs Payne, 3 and 2 ; Miss Argali beat Mrs Brody, 8 and 6 ; Miss Forrest lost to Miss Broadfcot, 2 and 1.
