HOCKEY.
PAEROA LADIES’ CLUB. TO-MORROW’S ARRANGEMENTS. A ladies’ friendly hockey match will le played at the Domain*to-mor-row between teams representing the Kowhais and Wanderers. HIKUTAIA V. PAEROA. The Hikutaia ladies' hockey team journeyed to Paeroa on Saturday and defeated the local eleven by 2 goals to 1. Miss B. Hunter shot a penalty goal for Paeroa, and Misses V. Brown and R. Alley each netted a goal for Hikutaia. At the conclusion of the match the visitors were enteretained at afternoon team. THAMES V. PAEROA. In the match between Thames Old Girls and Paeroa the Thames team won by four goals to nil. The Thames girls were superior in their passing and attacking movements, showing better combination than the local players.
