VISIT TO PAEROA-POKENO. PROPOSED TTERINARY. , Tlie Auckland Chamber of Comsmercc is this year arranging a business train to tour the Auckland province along the 'same lines as last year. The party this time will make a special point of inspecting the route of the proposed Paeroa-Pokeno railway. Leaving Auckland on November 15, the members, who are expected to number 80, will sleep that night in the train at Pokeno, and leave the n'-xt morning at nine by private cars for Paeroa, travelling along the proposed link of the East Coast Main Trunk railway. On arrival at Paeroa the visitors will ie accorded a civic welcome and entertained to an official luncheon. At two p.m. the party will re-enter the tram, which in the meantime will have been careering round the country to catch them up, and proceed to Waitoa. N.Z. Dairy Co.’s butter, dried and conThere the members will inspect the densed milk factory, remaining for afternoon tea at the hostel. The train will then return to Te Aroha, where members will be entertained to dinner. On the Sunday the train will leave for North Auckland.
