PAEROA V. THAMES. LOCAL TEAM DEFEATED. The Thames ladies’ hockey team visited Paeroa on Saturday and in a match with a local team gained a victory by 4 goals to 0. HAURAKI PLAINS MATCHES. On very muddy fields the Hauraki Plains ’adies’ competition was continued oi> Saturday. Waitakaruru beat Ngatea School by three goals to two, the scorers being Misses M. Beaver, F. Berney, and F. lang for Waitakaruru, while K. McKe.rchar and D. Alich shot the tw*o goals for Ngatea. The Kopuarahi A v. B match was postponed. In the Turua v. Kerepeehi B game Miss L. Aberhart, of Turua, netted the only tvzo goals registered. The Kerepeehi A team, which had a bye, had a visit from the Waihi ladies’ team, the game resulting in a win for the Plains girls by five goals to one. The scorers for Kerepeehi were Misses Myrtle Courtney (3), Martha Courtney, and Dorothy Courtney
