PAEROA V. HIKUTAIA. \ DRAWN GAMES. Notwithstanding the threatening aspect of the weather and the heavy nature of the ground, teams comprising members of the Paeroa and Hikutaia Ladies’ Hockey Clubs indulged in a particularly enjoyable-afternoon’s sport onj the Paeroa Domain on Saturday afternoon last. It was a mudbespattered but -jolly procession i that left the-field at the conclusion, of the games, 6oth of which endeji in a dpw. The first match, Hinerno^'(Hikutaia), versus Rovers (paeroa),’Was a battle royal, and developed into a Very fast game. She defence on both sides was very sound, each team scoring one goal only. Miss. A. O’Neil scored for Paeroa and MissW- Brpvzn for Hikutaia.
