The proposal mooted with great enthusiasm in Kerepeehi last summer of establishing a bowling club does not seem likely to materialise. A difficulty has been experienced in securing a suitable site, and in the ensuing period the advocates have realised that there was hardly likely to be sufficient' members to so spread the liability that it would not be a hardship.
