MATCH AGAINST THAMES. LOCAL TEAM FOR SATURDAY. The following players will represent the Paeroa Golf Club in a match against Thames at Thames on Saturday ' Ladies.—Mesdames Bray, Miller, Hubbard ; Misses Walmsley, Thorp, M. Thorp ; Tierney, G. J. Gibb. Men.—Messrs Miller, Steedman, Surrey; ' Bray, Moresby, Carden, Thorp, Pellow. — LAST SATURDAY’S PLAY. The match.for first-year lady players last Saturday was Avon by Miss Forrest, with a score of 90. The . men’s bogey competition resulted in Moresby, Bray, and Tubman returning cards of 2 down, and a playoff will be necessary.
